The new ETI HXS standing enclosures of the SOLID GSX System

The ETI's offer was expanded with new metal free-standing HXS300 and HXS400 cabinets, while a wide range of additional and indoor equipment greatly enhances the scope of the entire SOLID GSX system.

When designing a system that is switching an electrical load it is vitally important to choose the correct type of switchgear that will switch the load on or turn the load.
Electrical systems often involve loads being switched on and off for operation of equipment. In order to select the correct switchgear for the intended application, it is first necessary to determine the operating characteristics of the load to be controlled or switched. 

NEW KZS AFDD - Arc fault Detection Devices series

ETI is launching a new series of KZS AFDD - arc fault detection device with complete protection: miniature circuit breaker (MCB), residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) and arc fault protection (AFDD) in one device. Main purpose of the product is overcurrent and short circuit protection of both poles, with universal connection - supply is posible both from top and bottom terminals.

New awards for our innovators on the national level

On September 25, 2019 the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (GZS) awarded national awards to the most innovative companies and innovators in companies and public research institutions for year 2019. Among the winners are also innovators from ETI d.o.o.

Surge protection for LED lighting is very important as all the benefits of these luminaries help us very little if the whole system stops working at the first major storm.

Challenges and solutions in DC circuit control

Since the famous battle between Tesla and Edison, which circuit is “better” DC or AC, today more and more often we meet mix of those circuits. Especially when we talk about modern renewable energy sources like PV systems or battery storage systems. As today AC circuits are well understood and there is flood of components and solutions for AC systems, there are still gaps and doubts when we get challenged by proper designing of high energy DC circuits.

New developments in overcurrent protection of PV inverters

Recent changes in the field of PV (Photo-Voltaic), mainly related to the expected voltage levels on both the input (DC) direct current of inverters (DC / AC converter) and the output, AC - alternating current, have also had an impact on overcurrent protection of these inverters.

Our innovators among the winners for the best Regional innovations of 2019

On June 13th 2019, the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded Regional awards to the most innovative companies and innovators for year 2019. Of the 5 golden awards, 3 awards went to ETI.

Annual seminar for electrical designers in Slovenia

On June 6th, we hosted annual seminar for electrical designers in Slovenia. Participants were introduced with our software applications ETIsON and ETICAD. Our product managers also explained the differences between various characteristics in switches and their specific uses, explored in detail the corect selection of surge protection and presented the novelties in the field of protection of battery storage systems and other renewable energy sources.
